Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1.Overview

Calcrux ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. The short version: all calculations happen in your browser. We collect minimal anonymous analytics. We do not sell data.

2.What we collect

Calculator inputs & outputs

Never collected. All computation happens client-side in your browser.

Page views & navigation

Collected anonymously via analytics (if you accept cookies) to improve the tool.

Country / region

Detected server-side from IP geolocation headers to set default currency. Not stored.

Cookie preference

Stored in your browser's localStorage to remember your consent choice.

3.Cookies

We use two categories of cookies. Essential cookies are required for the site to function (e.g., storing your cookie preference). No opt-out needed. Analytics cookies are optional, anonymous page-view data — only set if you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner.

4.Third parties

We may use third-party analytics (e.g., Plausible Analytics — privacy-first, GDPR-compliant, no personal data). We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or sell data to any third party, ever.

5.Data security

Since calculator data never leaves your browser, there is nothing to breach on our servers. Our website is served over HTTPS. Our infrastructure follows industry-standard security practices.

6.Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold. Since we hold almost none, you can clear your data by clearing your browser's localStorage and cookies. For any privacy requests, contact us at privacy@calcrux.com.

7.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of Calcrux after changes constitutes acceptance.
